ABSTRACTS

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS IS CLOSED.

Participants wishing to present their contributions are requested to submit the abstracts in an electronic form. MS Word format is allowed only. The deadline of the abstract submission was 15^th May 2006. The acceptance of the contributions will be based on the evaluation of the abstracts. One participant may submit no more than 2 abstracts. However, only one paper per participant will be published in the Symposium Proceedings (special issue of the Journal of Alloys and Compounds).

The Organising Committee will take the decision on acceptance to the plenary or poster session. The abstracts, after their acceptance, will be printed in the Abstracts Book, and will be handed to all participants upon registration. Authors, having the abstracts once submitted, may send amended versions of their abstracts provided the changes to the original language do not impair the scientific quality of the work.

An abstract should clearly present the subject and the main results of the work. Its format should conform to the general requirements, but its contents and form is left to the authors’ discretion. The Organisers suggest that an abstract is prepared with the use of the MS Word template, which can be downloaded here.
